Now that you’ve mastered the smelly bums and sleepless nights, why not take on a new challenge? Become a member of one of our events teams – it would be a really rewarding short-term commitment, and perfect for a maternity leave challenge!

Every year, the Branch committee plans a series of social and fundraising events – each with a different focus and a different planning team. This approach means we gather together a whole range of new and interesting people with fresh and exciting ideas. Last year, our events teams raised thousands of pounds for the charity which were fed back into local and national projects.

We need your help this summer:

June – July 2008 NCT Cheeky Monkey Party
The Cheeky Monkey party will be a fun-filled afternoon for families with children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years (please see p.44). We need people to plan, promote and run this event so if you like fundraising, playing with kids, or even making tea and cakes for an excellent cause, please get in touch by calling Elizabeth on 0870 220 5884 or by emailing cheekymonkey@nct-fvs.co.uk by May 30th, 2008.

August – September 2008 Blueprint Creative Photo Shoot
For the third year in a row, we are running our hugely successful family photograph offer with the talented and very popular Blueprint Creative Studio in Grangemouth. All those booking a photograph with us receive a generous discount and it is not surprising that families come back again and again as their numbers expand.
