NCT vision
The National Childbirth Trust wants all parents to have an experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood that enriches their lives and gives them confidence in being a parent. Becoming a parent is a life-enhancing experience, but it can also be challenging and sometimes stressful. We are here to help you through this transition. NCT purpose
We EXIST to offer information and support in pregancy, childbirth and early parenthood.
We CAMPAIGN to improve maternity care and ensure better services and facilities for new parents.
We AIM to give every parent the opportunity to make informed choices.
We WANT to make sure everyone has access to our services and activities.

The Scottish Executive Health Department (SEDH) provides a grant to help fund initial and ongoing training of NCT Antenatal Teachers, Breastfeeding Counsellors and Postnatal Leaders in Scotland.
